We take great care in sourcing from some of South Africa's best producers. Our Grenache originates from the Swartland and our Cinsault from Piekenierskloof. Both varietals were harvested with sunrise, immediately crushed, and moved to fermentation tanks.
The grapes were cold-soaked at low temperatures before natural fermentation started. A portion of the grapes was whole bunch fermented, and the balance de-stemmed. After 3 weeks of fermentation, the wines were left on the skin for an additional 2 weeks.
The final wines were then carefully transferred to old 300L French Oak barrels to undergo aging for a further 9 months before blending to create this soft, fruit-driven yet sophisticated, and a delicious red blend.
