Loch Lomond 18 Year Old Original Single Malt

This 18 Year Old single malt is distilled in the unique Loch Lomond stills, maturing for 18 years in casks chosen by Tommy Wallace, the master cooper at the time. Time and nature have been allowed to bring out the sweeter character of the wood with mellow notes of peat and smoke delivering a well-balanced finish. Loch Lomond are renowned for being able to produce a variety of styles at their Highlands distillery, including malts, grains and blends.

Nose: Green apple and grapefruit aromas fuse before honeysuckle and mature oak character comes through. hints of tobacco.

Palate: Elegant wood notes of toasted oak and cigar box become green fruits with apple and gooseberry. Nutty brown bread.

Finish: Long finish with dried tea and tobacco leaf in balance with soft medicinal peatiness and wood smoke.
