Syrah is one of the backbone varieties of the Swartland, although the vines can struggle in our hot and dry climate. The yields were low as these vineyards receive minimal to no irrigation. This leads to small crops and concentrated berries. This wine is made from two vineyards, of which both are farmed organically, planted in granite and clay soils. The result is a perfumed wine with a good structure. Less than 2000 bottles were produced.
